How to prepare for study
Print your study materials. We suggest that everyone studying in person print out the Complete Mark PDF and organize it into a binder. Find this PDF and more on the Mark Resources page linked below. If you’ve never studied with us before, be sure to check out the Bible study tools descriptions in your PDF or watch our At Home in the Word videos to get familiar with the tools we’ll use throughout the summer.
Know who your Discussion Group Leader is and where your group is meeting. Your leader should contact you in advance to give you these details. If you haven’t been contacted by one week before the study, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you have kids in the Wednesday AM classes, know where to drop them off. This information is available below and will be emailed to anyone who has registered a child. See additional childcare guidelines below, as well.
If you have time, read through the book of Mark once and take a look at the Week 1 discussion questions.

Drop Off and Pick Up
Drop off for children begins at 9:15AM (discussion begins at 9:30AM). Please be prompt in dropping off and picking up your kids. At pick up, please grab any coloring pages or crafts from your child’s class container. We know it is summer and things go a bit slower, but we ask that you would be mindful of our volunteers by respecting their time.
Please mark all of your children's belongings clearly with their name (even diapers and wipes, please!). If your child is potty-training, please bring a marked change of clothes.
Please confirm with our volunteers at Session 1 if your child has any allergies or special needs we should be aware of (this would include potty-training and infant sleeping or feeding instructions).
We will be providing snacks for the kids during the study. Mothers of infants, please bring any milk, formula, food or snacks needed for your child along with instructions on how/when to feed your child.
Please use your best judgment when deciding whether or not to bring a recently ill child into childcare. We suggest not bringing your child if he/she has had a fever, vomited or significant cold symptoms in the last 24 hours before the study.
