We give a warm welcome to Emma Carsey this week on the DWITW podcast! On this episode, Emma shares about the need to keep her husband and kids a priority (and in that order!) and how God is sustaining her through grace and by living by the mantra: “Doing less, but being more.”

In our second interview with Emma, she catches us up about how she abandoned the yearly reading plan, but how God has used Hosea to go deep and grow her immensely. She also shares about Nehemiah, our hope + worth + enough-ness in Christ, and putting our phones down.

Emma wants to live in a world where morning never ends, hot coffee and blueberry or pumpkin waffles are always at the ready, and everyday is spent outside. When she's not "staying at home" with her two kids or spending time with her husband you can find her out to encourage, equip, and empower others to steward what we've been given in this life. Also likely she’d be baking, hiking, yoga-ing, and celebrating everything!

Her favorite Scripture is Esther 4:14, ESV: “For if you keep silent at this time, relief and deliverance will rise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father's house will perish. And who knows whether you have not come to the kingdom for such a time as this?”
