This summer we’re diving into the book of Habakkuk with women from all over the Dayton area. Are you someone who wants to grow her love for the Word and skill to study it? Summer Study is the perfect place for you, sister! Here’s what you need to know.

FAQs

Can i lead my own habakkuk study at home or in my church?

The short answer is yes! We are working on getting the Waiting By Faith Group Study Bundle set up for you. We will update this page when we have more information. For now, Summer Study registration is only for our in-person study.

How can I get a t-shirt?

You will have the chance to pre-order a t-shirt with your registration or on its own.  T-Shirts are only available for pre-order through May 3 . And if you want to volunteer at Summer Study and receive a shirt for free, sign-up here.

How long until registration closes?

Registration will close on May 21, but we may close it earlier if all the spots are filled. The price increases from $40 to $50 on May 4th. Space is limited, so we encourage you to grab your ticket as soon as you’re able.

Is there an age requirement?

We recommend our studies for 16 and over but it is up to the discretion of the parent for younger than that. We do not have child care for this study so please be mindful of children that might cause a distraction to you and/or other study participants. Use this opportunity to focus on the study and leave small children at home with a responsible adult.

New this study we are opening up a teen only group! If you are a teen and would like to be put in that group, type in “Teen Group” in the registration questions “friends you’d like to be grouped with” when registering for the study.

Are there any opportunities for scholarships?

Yes! If you would like to attend Summer Study with us but the cost will be a financial burden for you, we have generous donors who have decided to pay-it-forward and cover the cost of Summer Study for someone who is unable to pay the fee. Please fill out this form to be put on our list to receive a scholarship. We have a limited amount of scholarships available and they will be rewarded on a first come first serve basis. Scholarships are not guaranteed if you fill out this form.

Is there a media kit I can use to promote this event at my church?

We love that you want to promote this at your church! And the answer is YES! Here is our church media kit. If you would like some physical post cards to keep in your church, email amanda@daytonwomenintheword.com to request some.

Refund policy: If you change your mind after purchasing your Summer Study ticket, you may email our team to ask for a refund before June 1. We will refund your payment, less the processing fees. Beginning June 1 we cannot provide any refunds.
