2 Timothy || Session 4: 2 Timothy 1:15-2:13

In Session 4 of our Summer Study, Daisy presents four patterns, or pictures, of what laboring for the gospel can look like. We will talk about the soldier, the athlete, and the farmer, and finally, Jesus, our ultimate example of endurance. It is Jesus who we continually remember to give us strength for the work and suffering for the gospel. Paul ends this section with a little poetry, a hymn of praise that he interjects into the middle of this letter to Timothy. To find many of the resources mentioned throughout the lecture, be sure to check out the 2 Timothy Companion Guide and the 2 Timothy Week 4 Resource page.
