Host Bethany welcomes this week’s guest, Catherine Hernando, to Fulfilled on the DWITW Podcast for a discussion about Jeremiah’s prophecy that the Messiah would be the victim of a murderous plot. Bethany and Catherine trace themes of exile and return, hostility and reconciliation, and division and unity throughout the big story of the Bible— all leading us right to the cross, to the hope we have in Jesus.

Catherine is passionate about adventurously chasing the impulses of the Spirit and seeking out the paths imprinted by God’s manifest presence. When she’s not at Apex morning prayer, at coffee shops working on theology, or exploring ways to capture the narrative texture of mission and discipleship on the @walkingwithheroes platform, you can find her with her neighborhood “framily” out on the streets of east Oakwood amidst a cacophonous tribe of children. Catherine is learning a lot from Paul about strength in weakness in this season of life (2 Corinthians 12:9).
