SPEAKING ENGAGEMENTS
The Dayton Women in the Word team loves to visit churches and women’s gatherings to encourage and equip women by speaking at events.
We’ve been able to travel around the Dayton area to share at women’s ministry events such as retreats, teas, luncheons and more. We provide keynote teachings, workshops / breakouts or simply share the story of what God is doing through our ministry. We are delighted by these invitations and the opportunity to open the Bible with the women attending these events.
OUR SPEAKING guidelines
$150 per hour, per speaker (including prep and setup / teardown time)
Our speaking fees continue to steward our ministry’s resources well. However, as we never want finances to prevent our ability to encourage and equip churches, these are suggested donations. If this is not feasible for an event’s budget, a love offering for our ministry would be most appreciated.
For new content / teaching, we estimate at least five hours of prep time.
However, we can present a variety of workshops on the Bible Study tools that require no prep time for our ministry, so we recommend starting with this option for event break out sessions.
We love to take the opportunity at any event to set up a ministry table that includes merchandise we sell to help support our ministry. These items include shirts, mugs, our Bible studies that we have printed, etc.
To inquire about a member of our team speaking at your event, fill out this contact form. Please include the date, time and place you are requesting, how many speakers you will need, if there is a theme or focus passage for your event and what manner of speaking will be required (keynote, workshop, missions moment, etc.). We also like to know if we will be able to create and share slides at each event we visit. Our team will reply with our availability and set up a time to meet with each event organizer. Thank you!
