Breaking Barriers | Bethany and Jillian {S8 E1}

BETHANY SIBBIT & JILLIAN VINCENT (3).png

Here at Dayton Women in the Word, our mission is to help women read their Bibles. We know we are meant to be in the Word, and yet it is often times difficult to get ourselves there. This season on the DWITW Podcast, we will be hearing from various guests about breaking the barriers they face when wanting to spend time in God’s Word.

In today’s episode, Bethany and Jillian will give us an overview ofto the upcoming season, discuss what barriers are, and then share their own personal experiences with breaking their own barriers they face when going to their Bibles.

Bethany wants to live in a world where every week had a 3-day weekend. When she’s not at work, you can find her spending time with friends. Her favorite Scripture is 2 Corinthians 4:16 “So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, As we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.”

Jillian wants to live in a world where every rainy day, everyone quit life to snuggle in blankets and read books all day. When she’s not trying to feed all the boys in her household, you can find her inviting all her friends over to feed them instead. Her favorite Scripture (currently) is Romans 4:20-21 “No unbelief made him waver concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong in his faith as he gave glory to God, fully convinced that God was able to do what he had promised.”
